With the end of winter at bay, it’s time to bring out bright colors and sparkle for your nails! Let your nails reflect your personality for this spring with the following pre-manicure tips:
– Moisturize your cuticles! Make sure your cuticles are looking nice and clean throughout the season by soaking your fingertips in olive oil. Found in any kitchen, olive oil is a natural moisturizer and great to use on cuticles. Soak for ten minutes, and then wash off with warm water.
– Use a nail buffer. Buffing your nails on a regular basis will help your nails from cracking or chipping. Start at your cuticle with the buffer, and then move forward to the your tip to buff the full nail bed.
– Remove your cuticles. Pushing back your cuticles with a cuticle tool or cutting them with nail scissors when they become visible is important for keeping your nails looking clean and healthy.
– Massage your nail beds. Let your blood flow to your nails by massaging your nail beds consistently. This will also help keep them looking healthy for every season.
– And last of all, paint your nails! Try a new pastel color for this spring and let your beautiful nails shine!
